Privacy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. No tricks and no fine-print games.

1. What you give us

Account details: your name, email, phone number and password when you create an account.
Payment details: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep your subscription status and billing history.
Anything you send us: messages, support requests, enterprise inquiries, and any list you upload to be checked.

2. What we collect automatically

Device and browser type, which features you use, and general usage analytics, so we can tell what is working. On our older interface we use PostHog for this. Some of it is collected with cookies and similar technologies.

3. A list you upload stays yours

When you use Check my list we keep the shape of the result, how many rows you uploaded and how many were still active, so your report is there when you come back. We do not sell, share or reuse the names on your list, and they are never added to anybody else's search results.

4. The buyer data in the product

Smooth Intelligence contains information about property owners and buyers drawn from public public records and licensed third-party providers. That is the product you are paying to reach, and it is separate from your own account information.

5. How we use it

To run the service and give you access to your plan.
To take payment and manage your subscription.
To email you about your account: confirmations, password resets, support.
To improve the product.
To keep the service secure and stop abuse.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal account information. We share it only with the providers that run the business:

Stripe, to take payment.
Supabase, to store data and run accounts.
Resend, to send account and system email.
Analytics providers, to understand product usage.

We may also share information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights and our users. If the business is ever sold, account information may transfer as part of that.

7. Cookies

We use a cookie to keep an administrator signed in. Our analytics provider sets its own. You can control cookies in your browser, though parts of the service may stop working.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections and encrypted storage through our providers. No system online is ever completely secure and we will not claim otherwise. Keep your password to yourself.

9. What you can do

Change your details any time on your account page.
Cancel your subscription any time. You keep access to the end of the period you have paid for.
Delete your account and your data yourself, from your account page. You do not have to ask us, and you do not have to wait for us.
Opt out of anything that is not an account email.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights, for example under the CCPA. Ask and we will help you use them.

10. Children

This is a business tool for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the business changes. If a change is significant we will tell you. The date at the top is always the current version.
